Committee.
I thank you all for the opportunity you did gave me in the past two years.
My congratulations to Marc as the ISPCP representative whom I support  by
acclamation

need/want from this "veteran"

ELECTIONS - ICANN NOMINATING COMMITTEE 

The ISPCP elects a single delagate to the ICANN Nominating 
Committee each year.  For the last two years that position has 
been filled by Antonio Tavares.  The Secretariat, on behalf of 
the entire Constituency, thanks Antonio for his work on the 
Nominating Committee.  The ICANN bylaws have a two term limit 
for delegates to the Nominating Committee.  As a result, the 
Constituency needs a new delegate to take the position formerly 
held by Antonio Tavares. 

The ISPCP has held a call for nominations for the ISPCP 
delegate to the Nominating Committee.  A single nomination was 
recieved for the position.  The Secretariat has confirmed the 
willingness of the nominees for this position. 

The nominee is: 

Mark McFadden of BT Americas 

Since there is a single nominee and a single position, the 
Secretariat suggests that there is no need for a formal 
election.  Instead, the Secretariat suggests that the ISPCP 
elect the nominee by acclaimation.  This is consistent with 
past procedure in ISPCP elections. 

Unless I hear objections in the next 72 hours, the ISPCP will 
nominate Mark McFadden as its delegate to the Nominating 
Committee. 

If no objections are raised to the Secretariat, I will notify 
the GNSO of our election result on Monday, February 21.
