It's a step, not a conclusion.

It will help the folks who were on the registryfly books at the time the 
guillotine fell.

But from what I have heard there are an awful lot of people who are 
still in limbo, and who will remain in limbo, because of registerfly's 
juggling of its registration records - some names were never registered, 
some were held somewhere else, some were released by RF [but not bu the 
customer] during the later stages and acquired by a third party, etc.

From what I hear, there is still a large mess that is not yet cleaned 
up and is not cleaned up by this adoption of the easy part by GoDaddy.
