Danny,

Criticism is a good part to any debate, quite necessary actually. However if that is all that occurs along with "gimme" then it is useless. Until the EU or the UN show the world their own plan as an alternative with safeguards to prevent recurrence of the matters criticized.

Why did IQ run that ccTLD out of the USA?

Why do these folks call the running of these servers "governance" seems far more technical than political. If a Tsunami wipes out .OO servers and infrastructure doesn't that shut down .OO? Likewise if there is a war how does that losing country/regime keep the ccTLD running regardless of whether it is controlled USA, EU or UN?

This Hwa is great. "Indefensible" he says but i can do the same for any unit of body politic having it. His logic is also indefensible. The UN loves to sanction folks, and EU competes with others and its' stated purpose is to promote EU not Mexico or Vietnam.

No these guys have shown a good cost/benefit analysis. Nor have they a plan just complaints.
