  Hans was not elected nor desired by the stakeholder/user community
or any sector thereof.  As such his sitting on the ICANN BoD of a
public resource organization is picarious at best given the White
paper and MoU.  Same is true of all of the board squatters.  As
such they should requse themselves accordingly, regardless of
their merit to serve and/or sit as.

  In favor of Hans, yes as you rightly point out Michael, Hans is
a lightning rod, and for good reason...

  The issue's regarding Hans is not a matter of lobbying as you spin
it here Michael, but a matter of reason and judgment in listening
to the majority opinion.  As a BoD member Hans should know that
if a majority opinion or measured consensus in known, your own
opinion must sway.  Hans does not seem to recognize that fact
or reality.  As such to a degree, ICANN has and shall continue
to be in a disruptive position with the growing majority of
Stakeholders/users...
