Karl, Amandeu and all former DNSO GA members or other interested
stakeholders/users,

What's been clear to many and increasing stakeholders/users and
participants in this "Thing" called ICANN is that it was conceived
in bad or questionable faith to begin with and has gotten worse
as time has passed. Jon was a really good fellow, but was
far to prone to cronyism. Steve Crocker and Vint Cerf are
now far out of date, and as such cannot adequately be leaders
in today's demands and evolution of the DNS, none the less
the Internet as a whole because they are still of a "back when"
mindset. Such does not serve the stakeholders/users or
consumers let alone ecommerce.

Our [INEGroup's] position has basically been two fold.
The ICANN BoD must be an elected BOD by any and all
of the interested parties or stakeholders/users, or a
new contract from DOC/NTIA for the ICANN
functions must be let that is inclusive of any and
All interested parties or stakeholders/users as a privatized
but overseen organization by the USG and/or an international
body other than the UN.

So Amadue is right in his full remarks, that ICANN has done
a poor job for 5+ years now and is seemingly getting worse,
instead of better.
