Ha! Now Teilhard de Chardin was fantastic! He took Duns Scotus's idea of
"haecittas" and developed it into a modern theology... what you might call
"ordered complexification"!

Personally, I love the "thisness" of all the websites on the net, and the
way the Internet can refer to a sum greater than all its parts, because of
the interactions which it positively incites.

As for governance or ownership (or property rights...)

Who can own the recalcitrant human mind? And yet in the multiplicities of
the human genius, you can see the implications of great beauty. (Not quite
the same language as the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ of ICANN or the DNS suppliers,
admittedly)
