All,

  See:http://www.nextgov.com/nextgov/ng_20100113_4496.php?oref=rss?zone=NGtoday
An alleged cyberattack by the Chinese government into systems operated by
Google
and other U.S. companies, including federal contractors, has prompted the U.S.
government to revisit the complicated issue of Internet freedom.

Seems that yet again the government via the US Military got
caught with their pants down. Not surprising from my experiance
and due to the fact that for nearly 10 years now I and many other
security professionals have been warning various government
agencies to get up to speed and do it NOW.

Google also unfortunately as I and many other security
professionals have warned were hacked as well. Again Google,
espeically it's Gmail service/product line is, and has been
hugely vulnerable to attack and need not be so. But alas,
again warnings to them to get their security act together
for several years has failed. When will they learn?
