Buzzblog: Under threat of a lawsuit by the Electronic Frontier
Foundation, Michigan State has dropped disciplinary action against a
student who was accused of spamming and network abuse because
she sent e-mail about a campus matter to 391 faculty members.
Would she have prevailed if this had happened at a private university
 instead of a state school? Maybe.
