Brian Darville has requested that the following links be posted to assist
the task force 3 work:

Some previous Whois Task Force references pertaining to meetings the Domain
Name Supporting Organization (DNSO, pre-cursor to GNSO)Task Force had with
ccTLD Registries.
Archived website, the Names Council's November 30, 2002 Accuracy
and Bulk Access Report, available at
http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/20021130.NCWhoisTF-accuracy-and-bulkaccess.ht
ml
Two Meetings with ccTLD Registries were referenced in that report:

1. Minutes from the Sep. 9, 2002 meeting with Berny Turcotte of .ca (ccTLD
for Canada), available at
http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/20020909.NCWHOIStf-mins.html (this page also
includes a link to an MP3 of the meeting, but no transcript was made.

2. Transcript from Sep. 23, 2002 meeting with Sabine Doldere of .de (ccTLD
for Germany) and Patricio Poblete of .cl (ccTLD for Chile), available at
http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/20020923.WHOISTFtransc.html

Apparently, the minutes to the.ca meeting state that "every registration per
day is
eyeballed and approximately 20% of the registrations are flagged."
