  • Thread-topic: [council] Preliminary Report from ICANN Board meeting 17 Nov 2014

Hello Volker,

I think the current official program is essentially focussed on the plenary
meetings where they need to book a large auditorium, and keep the masses
entertained with opening ceremonies, galas, music nights etc.

As others have mentioned, the meetings are already effectively 9 to 10 days
long - with GNSO and Board tending to meet 2-3 days before the main event, and
the nominating committee etc meeting for a couple of days after the main event.

Regards,
Bruce Tonkin
