[council] IDN Variants: appointment of expert panels & background information
Hi all Here are the documents relating to the appointment of experts and advisors for the IDN Variant Project: * The call for experts to the 17 different Label Generation Ruleset (LGR) Panels (one for each identified language/script) that are currently being constituted, who will prepare a proposed LGR for that specific language/script and whose output will be reviewed and synthesized by an Integration Panel - http://www.icann.org/en/resources/idn/variant-tlds/lgr-procedure-20mar13-en. pdf * The call for advisors to the LGR Panels and the Integration Panels, anticipating that ICANN staff will also provide administrative or policy expertise on an as-needed basis to supplement that provided by the appointed advisors - http://www.icann.org/en/resources/idn/variant-tlds/advisors-lgr-panels-06jun 13-en.pdf * ICANN's announcement of who was selected for the Integration Panel and as an advisor, noting that additional advisors, if needed, will be selected based on the procedure (above) and on the Panel's request - https://www.icann.org/en/news/announcements/announcement-06sep13-en.htm Hopefully these will provide you with the necessary information relating to the scope and nature of the work of the Panels and the role of the advisors.
