Guidance for Applicants: Contracting Information Request

From:

21 June 2013

ICANN is planning to send a Contracting Information Request (CIR) to
applicants, in priority order, as they become eligible for contracting. The CIR
is the first step in the Contracting process and it's important to make sure
that the form is completed and submitted correctly in order to avoid potential
delays. We've created a guidance document, as well as samples of letters that
may be required, to help applicants provide all of the information necessary to
enter Contracting.

Review the CIR Guidance and Sample Documents
(http://newgtlds.icann.org/en/applicants/agb/base-agreement-contracting#cir )>

The Contracting Information Request will be available as an online form,
accessible through the Customer Portal. When an applicant becomes eligible to
enter Contracting, ICANN will notify the applicant's primary contact via email.
The email will contain a link to the CIR.

ICANN encourages applicants to download and review the Guidance form now in
order to prepare for completing the CIR.
