Thanks you Avri for reiterating my position in a different terminology:

While I think experimentation is always a good thing, I think the work that
needs to be done both
technically and regarding policy (dare i say the technopolitical work) is
extensive and requires a more serious attempt to bring the threads together
in discussion. And the need to widen the discussion beyond the relatively
closed door IAB circles, council circles, and presidential blue ribbon
panels.

I was just stressing the point that we need to wear our different hats,
technical/business as to NOT only come to a common ground, but to ask why
are we doing what we doing? the bottom like is the solution.  I will agree
with your recommendation on a call for cooperative action between council
and the relevant 'circles'.
