A GNSO Policy Development Process Working Group, chartered to provide the GNSO Council with 'policy recommendations regarding […] the accreditation of Privacy & Proxy Services', published its Final Report on 8 December 2014. The Report contained 21 recommendations that provide the basis for ICANN to develop and implement a privacy and proxy service provider accreditation framework, as part of ICANN's on-going efforts to improve the internet's WHOIS system. Prior to ICANN's Board's consideration of these recommendation a public comment forum will open in due course.
