Carlos Dionisio Aguirre - Nominating Committee appointee to the GNSO Council

II hold a degree as Lawyer, and a Specialization Postgraduate in Business Rights, all of this by UNC (National University of Cordoba – Argentina).

On the other side and regarding my Academical status, I am a professor of "Economy", and "Law Economy and Business on Information Society", and "Informatics Legislation" in the National University of Cordoba. I have been also a teacher of South Summer School on the Internet Governance at the two last editions 2009 in Buenos Aires & 2010 in Sao Paulo.

I am an International Director of AGEIA DENSI (an Academical NGO with currently with 10 National chapters in different countries of South America, Central America, Europe, and Pacific Asia).

I am Vice President of ADIAR (Argentinean Association of Lawyers of Informatics Right) too.

In the private sector, I have my own legal office, where we are giving legal services & advices for Banks, Companies and people in general. I am Economical consultant too.

I have been ALAC member for the last 4 years, and I have worked on, and currently I work on field of Education, trying to make real the capacity building of the Internet End Users to make efficient the Internet resource, giving chats, seminars, courses and conferences in many countries of Latin-American and Caribbean region.

Currently I am involved in:

To make reality the participation on the Internet Governance of End Users of Internet, in all countries around the world trough making grow AGEIA DENSI, and trying to create new national Chapters, following on this same sense, presently we are working to close two new National Chapters (Peru & USA).

And make reality the first career on Internet Governance from two Universities, for all people who want introducing on this important and complex subject.

Finally I want to say: I have only an Academical interests on this matter, and I have planed to do my Best on the GNSO Council and study and work in all issues that I can assume in my new commitment.
