I am Director of Policy & Industry Relations at mTLD Ltd [dotMobi], the Irish-based registry responsible for the .mobi top level domain. dotMobi signed its contract with ICANN in July 2005 and began operations in May 2006. dotMobi was acquired by Afilias, the registry responsible for administration of the .info top level domain, in 2010. Afilias also runs the technical back-end operations for dotMobi.
I am responsible for policy and compliance-related issues at dotMobi and have access to registry sensitive information from time to time, including information about registrars. dotMobi currently has approximately 300 ICANN accredited registrars.
I have no employment, contract, financial interest or share ownership in any other company, including any registry or registrar.
dotMobi may participate as an applicant in the new gTLD process.
